Cooking Classes!
Do you love to cook? Do you love learning about food? How about coming to work alongside Chef, learning new techniques and dishes, while building your confidence and skills in the kitchen?
We cater for all levels of skill and experience, from the cooking novice to the most experienced. We offer classes of 3 hours through to our full day 'Matakana Local Food Experience'. We have classes based around building your technical expertise, health interests, dinner party prowess, fusion kiwi fare, and everything in between. It doesn't matter if you are solo or part of a group, we can accommodate you.

Matakana Local Food Experience
Experience a day to tempt your taste buds. Meet the local Food Producers at the famous Matakana Farmers market, hear their stories, sample their products, and then come back to our kitchen and produce an impressive gourmet lunch with our experienced Chef tutor! Cruise Passengers

Regional Flavours
We can provide a range of regional styles and flavours to get you inspired: Our classes are dedicated to using the product of at least one of our local artisan food producers, for example Salumeria Fontana Italian Sausage, Chocolate from Chocolate Brown, Jones' Road Apple Cider. Families Friends and Other Groups
For any group of friends / family / colleagues / book clubs / family groups / hen parties / sports clubs etc.. wishing for a "hands-on" cooking experience. Bring your group and join us at The Gourmet Within for a new and fun way of getting together (while eating together at the same time !) |
