Get to meet a selection of the local producers, hear their stories, taste their produce.
We will take a small group of food lovers around to visit the local producers so you can see first hand where they create their specialty products. You will get to spend time getting to know them and hearing about their unique story and the background to their own food journey. Tasting, of course, is part of this experience. Tours can be designed around your particular interests, depending on seasonality and availability of produce. We live in Matakana and know the local producers. Oysters, Gelato, Chocolate, Italian Sausage, Honey, Micro Greens, Wine, Nuts, Fruit, Grapes, Cheese. We know them all. We have a fabulous Farmers Market on Saturdays and this can be included in your Tour. Let us know how long you have got, what interests you and we will organise a tour for you. (Minimum 4 persons) |
